Certificates Of Identity

Certificates of identity are emergency travel documents issued to Ugandans and non-Ugandans who cannot readily access Travel documents in emergency situations.

They are issued at Foreign Missions.

Requirements

1. National ID for Ugandans
2. Duly fill out the Application Form.
3. Attach 2 passport-size photos.
4. Attach a cover letter from Area LC where applicable.
5. In the case of applications by non-nationals, the applicant should justify why he/she doesn't have or can't obtain their national travel document.
6. Payment of 35 Euros fees

Validity of Certificates of Identity is up to 2 years. Applications for these Travel Documents shall be made personally at the designated Passport Office
