During the 20th Session of the Conference of States Parties of the
Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) on 30 November
2015, Uganda was proud to announce to the Conference delegates that its Parliament had adopted the "Toxic Chemicals Prohibition
and Control Bill 2015".
This means that Uganda is now fully compliant
with the obligations arising out of the Chemical Weapons Convention
which Uganda ratified in 2001.
The PGA held a number of bilateral meetings on his first day in Brussels, including a meeting with H.E. Ms. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
