Graduation of the 1st Cohort of the Fellowship Programme in Health Systems Management.

The above ceremony was split into two parts: in the first part, each graduating Fellow presented the process and results of their action-research implemented in their work-place as part of the curriculum of the Fellowship. The official ceremony started with the second part with a series of speeches.  
The Minister of Health, Hon Elioda Tumwesigye was present at the event and he praised the Belgian Cooperation for its continuity and capacity of hearing and attending the needs of Uganda. He also gave special thanks to the Institute of Tropical Medicine and its technical support. The Minister reminded participants with details his visit to Belgium and in particular to  the Institute, appreciating the warmth of the reception and time dedicated to it.  Mr S.J. Vanuytsel, the in charge of the Health Sector and future (from August on) Head of the Cooperation at the Belgian Embassy represented the Ambassador.  
This was followed by a lunch accompanied with entertainment by the team of artists from the Department of Dance, Music and Drama of Makerere University.
